God has a plan. He wants the people of Iran to hear about Jesus and He will not allow His plan to be thwarted by human intervention. Every time I meet the Hovsepian family, I see living evidence of this truth. In 1985, when Khomeini ruled in Iran, Brother Andrew and I visited brother Haik Hovsepian’s church in Tehran. We were surprised to find a living fellowship of Christians who were not afraid to share their faith with others. When brother Haik and several other leaders were killed, the devil tried to stop the growth of the church. But as in many other countries, intensified persecution led to faster church growth. The Hovsepian family and their coworkers continue to minister to the Iranian people. They have reached millions with the gospel in recent years. On behalf of Open Doors International, I strongly endorse Hovsepian Ministries. They are worthy of our support!
Joseph and his team are truly trying to fulfill the Great Commission by reaching people throughout the world with their powerful messages. I applaud their stand for the gospel and for our Lord.
I met Iranian pastor, Bishop Haik, in the mid 80’s. In the mid 90’s, following his martyrdom, I taught 17 Iranian Bible school students. Joseph Hovsepian, Haik’s oldest son, was one of those students. God birthed Joseph’s passion for sharing the gospel of Christ using media during that video conference class. Today, I am convinced that the media ministry of Joseph and his family is being used by God to introduce Farsi speaking people and many other people groups to the Lord Jesus Christ. I enthusiastically support their ministry efforts.
The Hovsepian family has long been a key music and video contributor to SAT-7’s Farsi (Persian) language channel, SAT-7 PARS, broadcasting throughout Iran and parts of Afghanistan. We are grateful for their heart for God and for Iran, knowledge of the Bible, and musical talent. I highly recommend Hovsepian Ministries.
